Imogene Fowler, 77, of Sullivan, passed away at 1:00 a.m. Thursday (June 14, 2012) at Courtyard Estates, Sullivan.
Celebration of Life services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Reed Funeral Home, Sullivan, with Pastor Fred Hauck officiating. Visitation will from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Burial will be in the French Cemetery, Allenville. Memorials are suggested to the Sullivan Elementary School for the Weekend Food Packs for Children Project. Imogene was born March 17, 1935 in Findlay the daughter of Leonard and Luella Sporleder Bolin. She had been a homemaker and an Avon representative, a member of the Sullivan Church of God and the Sullivan American Legion Post # 68 Auxiliary. She married Cleo Donald Fowler in 1953 at Sullivan and he preceded her in death on September 16, 1980.
Surviving are her children; Kathy (Terry) Sharp of St. Louis, Mike (Donna) Fowler of Sullivan, Kevin Fowler of Dallas, Texas, Tina (Randy) Frederick, Springfield, Ohio; sister, Sharon Borders of Decatur; grandchildren, Christen (Tom) Hejlek, Lindsey (Tim) Hejlek and Byron (Lori) Sharp all of St. Louis, Jason (Tarah) Fowler of Chicago, Nikki (Kyle) Wickline of Sullivan, Addison Frederick and Bryce Frederick both of Springfield, Ohio, nine great grandchildren and special friend, Harry Dugan of Sullivan.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
